Plan and payments

All four pages are in Organization settings, in the Billing group.

Plan shows your plan, its status and price, what it includes, the current period, and the next invoice with its lines. Billed shows whether you pay monthly or yearly: a monthly plan offers Switch to yearly…, and a yearly plan offers Switch to monthly….

Payment method shows the card on file and the billing email. Choose Manage in billing portal to change them.

Plans lists every plan with a Monthly or Yearly price:

  • On a paid plan, Switch… moves you to another plan. The dialog shows the plan before and after and what is charged today. Moving to a smaller plan also lists anything you use today that is above the smaller plan’s limits.
  • On Free, Subscribe… takes you to a checkout page, which shows the tax before you pay. A Free organization can add a promo code before it subscribes.
  • Enterprise is Talk to us.

Checkout takes cards, including card wallets such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Bank debits and bank transfers aren’t offered at checkout.

A change to a yearly plan is charged right away. On a monthly plan, the change shows on your next invoice.

Danger zone has Pause… and Cancel subscription…. Only an organization owner can pause or cancel; everyone else with billing access sees who to ask. When the subscription is paused, or a payment needs attention, the page’s header offers Resume subscription or Update payment method.

See Plans for what each plan includes.

Every invoice of the organization in one list. Search, filter by status and date, and page through them. Pay appears on an unpaid invoice when you are allowed to pay it, and PDF opens the invoice. A notice above the list shows any unpaid invoices.

Billing contacts are the people who get invoices, receipts and usage alerts. Exactly one of them is the primary contact. Every member can read the contacts and tax details; owners, admins and the billing role change them.

Tax details are printed on your invoices. Save changes with the bar at the bottom of the page.

A usage alert emails your billing contacts when a meter reaches the share of its limit you choose. The limit counts your plan and your add-ons. Each alert fires once per billing period, the first time its meter crosses the line. Choose New alert to add one; change or remove an alert from its row. The page also lists the alerts that fired.

From the API, with a console access token: GET and POST /billing/org/{orgId}/usage-alerts, and GET /billing/org/{orgId}/usage-alerts/history.
