Writing prompts

Verament plans from your prompt. The more it knows about your data, who may see it and what should happen, the closer the first plan is to what you want, and the less you spend planning again.

Instead of:

Build me a blog.

Try:

Create a blog with posts (title, content, slug, published status, author), categories (name, slug), and a table linking posts to categories. Add row rules so users can edit only their own posts and anyone can read published posts.

Say how your data connects:

Users have many projects. Each project has many tasks. Tasks belong to a project and can be assigned to a user. Delete a project’s tasks when the project is deleted.

Add sign-in with email and password. Only signed-in users can create records. Users with the role admin can manage every record.

For a backend or a full-stack build, say what you want it written in:

Generate a TypeScript backend with a REST API for the tasks table, with input checks and clear error messages.

Build an online store backend with products (name, price, description, image list, stock count), categories, and orders (items, total, status: pending, paid, shipped or delivered), and a function that marks an order paid when the payment webhook arrives.

Create a multi-team backend with organizations, members (roles: owner, admin, member), projects per organization, and row rules so members see only their own organization’s data.

Generate a chat app with channels (name, private flag), messages (content, sender, channel), and presence, using VAIF Realtime for live messages and typing indicators.

If Verament can’t tell how much you want built, it asks before planning, and the question is free. Answer it, or choose Plan with defaults to let it decide.
